How to Find a Reliable Honda Dealer?

Though there may have been a number of Honda dealers in your area, you most probably do not notice them and reckon that they are all the same. Scratch the surface a little and you will be amazed at the vast differences between Honda dealers. The main difference between these dealers being the price and of course the service. So if you are looking for a Honda car or any car for that matter you have to ask yourself these questions.

What can a Honda dealer do for me? What kind of Honda car can I get from a Honda dealer? Why Honda? Where do I find an established Honda dealer? This is important because choosing the right dealer has two important implications, one you can save yourself few thousands of dollars and two, in long term you can get benefits such as maintenance support at affordable prices.

What kind of Honda is right for me?

Honda prides itself with versatility and offers different kinds of vehicle ranging from trucks to cars. Depending on what you need these vehicles for; you have to choose a vehicle that is very specific to your needs; don’t compromise! The key is knowing what your needs are i.e. what you may want to use the vehicle for, for example If you see yourself towing any kind of trailer, then you may need a truck or probably SUV. But if you are just going to be driving to and from work, then a smaller car will most certainly do. Other factors also come into play such as your budget, those extra features and whether you need them or not.

Why Honda?

Honda sees the world not as it is, but as it could be. Honda sees things from a global perspective, always striving to create and produce products of the highest quality at a reasonable price for worldwide customer satisfaction. With Honda, you are sure to have a vehicle that will run miles for many years to come. Moreover, Honda models have variety, this I think is important as different people have different needs. For example I am very environmentally conscious and want to do right for the environment; however I am less willing to sacrifice good looks in car to save the environment. Therefore, Honda Civic Hybrid satisfies my requirements.

How do I find a Honda dealer?

There are several ways for you to find a Honda dealer. First place to look is in your phonebook mainly because most car dealers place their ads in phonebooks or go online and look at yellow pages. Even though it may be attractive to want to mainly consider a dealer in your area, spread out a bit and seek reputation instead of convenience. You can also look for different Honda dealers websites in the internet. Most Honda car dealers have websites which show all kinds of information about their company and what they have to offer. One other thing is to look at the Honda website such as Australian Honda as they tend to be less biased and it is always advisable to compare the prices listed here with those in each respective dealer.

If you are in Australia, I recommend that you visit the Peter Warren Honda Website for all Honda deals. Peter Warren Honda offers new and used Honda at affordable prices. If it is a new Honda or a used Honda that you want, Peter Warren Honda’s professional team will be ready to assist you with the following motor vehicle needs including sales, finance and insurance, vehicle servicing and spare parts. Look Out for Honda in 2007

The founder of Honda Automobiles, Soichiro Honda, was born in 1906. He grew up helping his father repair bicycles in the little town of Komyo. At 16, he headed to Tokyo, 270 kilometers away, to take an apprenticeship at an automobile repair shop. He took up racing and, after a violent crash, he was convinced by his wife to retire from the sport. The repair business alone was not enough to keep him occupied. This restlessness led to his venture into piston ring manufacturing in 1937.

By the early 1950s, Honda had developed into an engine manufacturer. Honda’s inventive spirit led the company to develop class-leading engines for Japan’s motorcycle industry. Honda met Takeo Fujisawa by chance in 1948. The two men shared a desire for long-term investment, a rare trait in post-war Japan. They agreed to work together; Fujisawa invested his money and took on the marketing responsibilities and Honda continued on the technological side of the business. The Honda Motor Company was born in 1948.

Soichiro Honda did much of the market research for his products. This research went as far as traveling to races all over the world and examining the competition’s motorcycles. Once a benchmark was set with a competitive product, Honda would take this information home and strive to top that mark. Honda’s racing successes converted to sales successes. In 1959, Honda had topped the Japanese motorcycle sales chart with 285,000 units. Two years later, Honda was selling at rate of 100,000 units a MONTH!

Honda announced its intention to enter automobile production in the early 1960s and introduced the S360 sports car. When it was decided to begin exporting the Honda products, the United States was chosen as a key target. The first Honda motorcycles were introduced into the United States in 1959. By 1963, Honda was the top-selling brand of motorcycles in the United States. Today, Honda stands as the largest motorcycle manufacturer and the 9th largest automobile manufacturer in the world. With cars like the Civic S Hatchback, Prelude and Civic CRX, Honda became the first car maker to finish first, second and third in the Motor Trend Import Cars of the Year selections!

Here’s a peek at what they have in store for the model year 2007:

2007 Honda Accord

The changes to the seventh-generation Accord will be most noticeable at night, when the multiple LEDs in the taillights and center high-mounted stop light (CHMSL) are readily apparent. The CHMSL has been moved from the rear window to the rear edge of the trunk, where it acts as a small spoiler. The rear fenders are changed slightly from earlier models, as has the grille and front bumper. Improvements to intake and exhaust airflow have enabled Honda to find a few more horsepower in both Accord engines. The silky-smooth 3.0-liter single overhead camshaft, 24-valve V6 is up four horsepower, for 244 at 6250 rpm, with maximum torque 211 lb-ft at 5000 rpm. Honda’s VTEC variable valve lift and timing system ensures optimum performance at all engine speeds, and there is a very healthy midrange surge of torque that is best taken advantage of by the six-speed gearbox.

2007 Honda Element

The 2007 Element is available in two versions, the LX and the EX. Both the Element LX and EX come equipped with the same 166-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and new Drive-by-Wire electronic throttle control system, as well as a handy Maintenance Minder organizer whose name speaks for itself. With this seventh generation version, Honda will deliver a face-lifted SUV that features additional 10 horsepower, new five-speed automatic and a new set of standard safety equipment.

2007 Honda Fit

The 2007 Honda Fit is a triumph of creativity, proof that good ideas don’t have to be expensive. Both trim levels for this front-drive, five-door hatchback (the Fit is offered in base and Sport trim) feature a 1.5-liter, 109-horsepower VTEC four-cylinder engine. Delivering 105 pound-feet of torque at 4,800 rpm, it posted a 9.3 second, 0-60 mph sprint. As if anticipating safety concerns from U.S. buyers, Honda has provided two key features standard on both the base and Sport models. Both trim levels now come with four-wheel antilock brakes and side curtain airbags.

2007 Honda Ridgeline

Honda’s pickup truck is a compact, five-passenger 4-dr crew cab with a 5-ft long cargo bed and standard all-wheel drive. Ridgeline has several design features unusual to pickups, including independent rear suspension and unibody construction. The tailgate drops down or swings out. The sole powertrain is a 255-hp V6 and a 5-speed automatic transmission. ABS and traction/antiskid control are standard. So are front side airbags and curtain side airbags that cover both seating rows and include rollover deployment. All models have front bucket seats and a 60/40 split rear bench with cushions that flip up to increase in-cab storage.

Soichiro Honda’s unique leadership has allowed the Honda Motor Company to become a world power in the automotive fields. Mr. Honda’s views went counter to the direction of his own government and yet his company has prospered. With innovation developed by Mr. Honda as a basis, the Honda Motor Company has become a technological force in the motorcycle and automobile industries in Asia, Europe, and North America.

What does the Honda Crosstour have in common with the 2011 Ford Mustang?

There is no doubt that these two sedans, or shall I say sports cars, are in different playing fields. The new and improved 2011 Ford Mustang is aimed to target fast, young and old drivers alike. The sports car is also geared towards men, not to discriminate against women who enjoy living on the edge as much as their counterpart. The Honda Accord Crosstour on the other hand was designed and targeted towards a much older crowd who enjoys a spacious a comfortable vehicle. After the release of the Crosstour, critics have realized that younger crowds have also become fans of the spacious hatchback.

But what exactly is it that these two vehicles have in common? Can it be their amazing gas mileage? The new 2011 Ford Mustang will reportedly reach 30 mpg on the highway, which is a big improvement from the 2010 model that only gets 20mpg on the highway. The Crosstour, like most Honda’s, was designed particularly for those who are fuel efficient conscious. The EX model of the Crosstour gains 27mpg on the highway, which is pretty good for a 3.5L i-VTEC V6 engine. Although the two vehicles score exceptionally decent on the highway fuel mileage, this isn’t the feature that makes these two vehicles alike. What makes these two vehicles similar is what’s under the hood. The 2011 Ford Mustang comes with a high performance due to its all-powerful 3.7-liter DOHC Ti-VCT V-6 engine that delivers 305 horsepower. Along with its six-speed automatic transmission, the 2011 Ford Mustang is by far one of the fastest vehicles to come into the industry. The Honda Crosstour doesn’t lag to far behind with its 3.5L i-VTEC V6 engine which delivers 271 horsepower. The Crosstours 5-speed automatic transmission along with Honda’s Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) system, allows the engine to run on as few as 3 cylinders to conserve fuel.

There is no doubt these two vehicles are the more powerful and efficient vehicles available (or soon to be available) on the market. Depending on whether you’re a driver that enjoys a sportier vehicle or a driver who looks for comfort and safety in a vehicle, you will know which of the two to choose. Make sure to visit your local Miami Dealership to test drive these powerful vehicles.

Will Honda’s new Concept Car make it to Miami Streets?

Honda has recently debut its new “Neo-Urban” vehicle dubbed the Honda P-NUT at the Los Angeles Auto show. This vehicle of the future seats three passengers and features a center-driving configuration. The objective for the design of the vehicle was to explore the new type of small-segment vehicle. The vehicle, which is shaped like a Porsche 911, has a rear engine and rear-wheel drive. As of now the vehicle has no powerterrain but has the potential of becoming a plug-in hybrid or a small gasoline engine car.

The issue of safety still stands with the car. A driver can very easily find themselves with serious injuries if a collision were to occur, due to the solid sheet of glass that makes up both the windshield roofs. The dimensions of the vehicle are also particularly small considering safety standards, coming in at 133 inches long. The Honda P-NUT is a mere project made by the company to show just what cars will begin to look like 20 years from now. Although many would be waiting in line to purchase the Honda inspired “Personal-Neo Urban Transit” vehicle, we doubt this car will be up for sale any time soon. But don’t take our word for it just yet; you could be seeing this vehicle in your Miami neighborhood streets in the near future. Honda has been known for their exceptionally safe and reliable vehicles for a over a decade.

Make sure to stop by your local Miami Honda dealership to check out the newest models: ranging from hybrids to gas electric vehicles.

Honda Passes Safety Test for 2010

Only 27 new vehicles made the list for the safest cars of 2010. In 2009, 94 vehicles made the list for top safety cars, which are 67 less than this year. Apparently the safety rating got a lot tougher, like the addition of a new roof strength requirement. The roof strength requirement aims to protect passengers against rollover crashes. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety added the roof strength test to address the increasing circumstances where people are injured or killed in accidents.

Honda not only got one of its vehicles to make the top 27 list, but two. The Honda Civic and the Honda Element were two of the Honda vehicles that performed very well on these rigorous safety tests. The Honda Accord missed the list by a synch due to minor details. The Institute named 19 cars and eight sport-utility vehicles as the top safety vehicles for 2010. Among them are the Audi A3, Honda Civic, Dodge Journey and Ford Taurus. Among major automakers with no top picks is Toyota Motor Corp. Toyota’s Camry came close with good front, side and rollover protection, but fell short in the rear-impact test. To become a top safety pick, a vehicle has to have the insurance group’s top rating of “good” in front, side, rollover and rear-impact crash tests and also have electronic stability control, which helps drivers maintain control of their vehicles in situations that might otherwise result in crashes.

Roof strength has long been a point of contention between the Insurance Institute and the auto industry, as well as among safety experts. Carmakers have never been fond of roof strength testing because they say these test do not show a conclusive relationship between roof strength and occupant safety. Carmakers also conclude that roof strength testing does not show how well a vehicles structure performs in crash collisions. A representative of the Institute, Mr. Lund, responded by stating that their research on rollover crashes showed that weaker vehicles roofs more often than not result in death.

Honda has been known for over a decade for its reliable and safe vehicles and once again has been recognized for it. Make sure to stop by your local Miami dealership to test drive your safe Honda vehicle.

Miami Drivers Choose the Honda Insight for Efficiency and Price

With the growing competition of hybrid vehicles on the market, it gets hard for consumers to choose which is the right fuel-efficient car for them. Every hybrid seems to offer something different- style, design, extras ect… But essentially they all deliver the same result, environment friendly motors. Some of the hottest hybrids on the market include the Toyota Prius, Honda Insight, Civic Hybrid and the Ford Fusion. The 2010 Honda Insight comes in as the cheapest of the hybrids with a starting price of $19,800. You will pay at least $1,500 more for the Toyota Prius, which has a starting/base price of $22,400. The 2010 Ford Fusion comes in as the most expensive of the group with a base price of $ 27,625.

Although the 2010 Honda Insight is known for its tight backseat space, its affordable price and excellent fuel economy more than make up for it. The Honda Insight also scores significantly high in Crash test results, earning 5 and 4 stars for driver, passenger, side impact, and rollover resistance. EPA mileage for the Honda Insight is 40mpg city and 43mpg highway. The Insight has Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist system, which uses a small electric motor (13 horsepower) to supplement the 98-horsepower gasoline engine, which runs nearly all the time except when the vehicle comes to a stop, such as at a traffic signal. There is no doubt that the Insight is the most practical hybrid car on the market. As for the Insight, even the base LX is well equipped at its under-$20,000 price. Standard are front seat-mounted side air bags, roof-mounted side-curtain air bags for both rows, antilock brakes, continuously variable automatic transmission, automatic climate control, tilt-and-telescopic steering column, manual driver’s seat height adjustment, power windows and door locks, a four-speaker AM/FM audio system with CD player and auxiliary input for iPods and other music players, and more. The EX comes with everything available on the Insight, with the most expensive model running just $23,100; in comparison, the 2010 Prius ranges from $22,400 to $27,670 plus $750 freight and the buyer’s choice from a list of options.

Did we mention this hybrid is a Honda? Honda’s are known for their reliability, affordability and safety. Rest assure that your hybrid will last you for longer than you bargained for. Honda Introduces New Vision to the World; Miami Honda Lovers Await New Car

If you’re a car lover or a Honda fanatic, then make sure to mark the week of December 2 on your calendar. That week is the week of the Los Angeles Car Show, and during that week, Honda will reveal just a little more of its vision of the future of automobiles, when it reveals its Personal Neo-Urban Transport concept to the world. Traditionally, concept car presentations are not always “rough drafts” for future vehicles, but can instead represent a company’s vision for society’s future relationship with automotive technology. If you use the most recent displays by automakers as examples, then it is obvious that carmakers envision the future as an urban, efficient, compact one- and the name Honda “Personal-Neo Urban Transport” (yes, P-NUT) seems to evoke all those qualities. We have no clue what the P-NUT actually looks like, except that it is an “ultra-compact, agressively designed coupe”, and it follows the introduction of concepts like Honda’s Skydeck and CR-Z .

If you don’t want to wait several years for the ideas presented in concepts to hit the streets, why not look into getting your own futuristic car right now? Honda has several “cars of the future” on sale now. Whether you prefer futuristic styling (the Honda Fit) or futuristic technology (Honda Insight), Honda has something for you. You can get a quick quote on the Honda of your choice in less than 8 minutes time from BrickellHondaDirect.com, or visit Brickell Honda of Miami- Miami’s favorite car dealership- in person to see the future for yourself. And for you car enthusiasts- we will have more information on the P-NUT as it comes.
